Mondo Size Conversion Chart
Ski boots and snowboard boots are sized in mondopoint — the length of your foot in centimeters. A 26.5 mondo boot fits a 26.5 cm foot, which is about a US men's 8.5. Find your number below.
What does a mondo size convert to?
Mondo is centimeters, so the conversion never changes: mondo 21.5 ≈ US youth 4, 23.5 ≈ US women's 6.5, 26.5 ≈ US men's 8.5, and 28.5 ≈ US men's 10.5. Shoe sizes drift between brands; your foot length does not. Measure your foot and shop the number, not the shoe size.

Brands vary by roughly half a size. Use this chart to narrow the shelf, then confirm with a shell fit.
How to measure your mondo size at home
- Put on a thin ski sock and stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
- Have someone mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in centimeters. That number is your mondopoint.
- Measure both feet and use the larger one, then round to the nearest half size.
Why half sizes share a shell
Most ski boots use one shell for two consecutive mondo sizes — 26.5 and 27.0 are the same plastic with a slightly different liner. That's why fitters push you to the lower of the two: the shell is identical, and the thinner liner packs out less.
Snowboard boots use mondo too
Snowboard boots are sold in US sizes but built on mondo lasts, so the same chart works. Snowboard boots pack out more than ski boots, so buy them snug — your toes should just brush the liner when you stand up straight.
